What a wild and whirled week this has been. Last week, current commander-in-chief Joe Biden officially announced that he was dropping out of the 2024 Presidential Election race. Though, President Biden did not give the public an apparent reason why he was not continuing his term, he released a statement; first thanking the country for allowing him to serve as President for the past three years and then in closing,
"It has been the greatest honor of my life to serve as your President. And while it has been my intention to seek reelection, I believe it is in my party's and the country's best interest for me to stand down and focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my term."

Following President Biden's withdrawal, Vice President Kamala Harris has emerged as a key figure in the upcoming election. With President Biden's full support, Harris is now a contender for the forthcoming US Presidential seat, facing off against former president Donald J. Trump. Since making her dynamic announcement, Harris has received an astounded number of supporters all over the country, including women who held a zoom call and raised over 8 million dollars for her campaign. This past week, Harris had her very first presidential campaign rally in Atlanta, Georgia, where it was a significant star-studded event, including a performance by Houston Rapper, Megan Thee Stallion as she not only performed but coined a new phrase for the campaign in support "Hotties for Harris", Migo's group member Quavo, and many more joined as well in support of VP Harris. As we all know, this is a big deal for America as we have the first black female running for President. This campaign is not only inspiring, but it is life changing! Make sure you guys are registered to vote and head to the polls this November!
In the previous election, black women saved America by getting to those polls and making sure the right candidate was elected and this election proves again that America will be leaning on the power of black women and black greeks to pull off another WIN against former president Donald J. Trump!
