You can take a break, it’s okay.
Sometimes as entrepreneurs we are so focused on every task, every goal, every job, every detail, everyone around us but we forget about the most important person. US! We are always the first ones up and the last ones in bed. We always answer the phone and we respond to just about every email. Eventually you start to realize you are running on fumes and you don’t have the energy or motivation to keep moving forward. This is a sign and major red flag to just press pause for a moment. Take a break! So here are a few break ideas that you should give a try!
Get Ugly!
I don’t know how many times I’ve scared myself from forgetting I have a face mask on and walked in the bathroom and jumped at myself lol. Throw on a face masks and some eye gels, cut on your favorite playlist and zone out for 30 minutes, dance and sing even if someone is watching.
Mini Meditations.
Some people can’t sit for long periods of time without getting antsy and its okay. Carve out small increments of 5-10 minutes throughout the day for complete silence and deep breathing. These mini meditations could be the key to making sure that you keep your mental balance in the midst of a hectic day.
Go for a Walk.
It may not have to be outside but it could be in the mall, grocery store, book store, museum, anywhere. Just take a solid 10-15 minute walk and just empty you mind and have a quiet moment
Take a hot bath and sip a glass a wine.
Lush is one of my favorite stores to get bath bombs and bath gels, drop in your favorite bath bomb, pour your favorite wine and just relax to some music!
