Here comes Beyonce ready to snatch edges again.
It’s being reported by an insider that the entertainer has been offered a jaw-dropping $100 million deal with Disney following the success of The Lion King that entails working on three upcoming films including ‘Black Panther 2’. In true Queen fashion Beyoncé would not only be a character, but the creative genius behind its soundtrack as well.
“Beyoncé has become a major player for Disney and is the perfect fit for their brand,” the source stated. “She’s worked on a number of projects for them, including voicing Nala in the reboot of The Lion King, and now they’re keen to secure her for more projects.”
“As part of the deal they are also trying to get her team to agree to have Beyoncé voicing some of the new documentaries coming to Disney+”, they went on to say. “They have projects coming up which align perfectly with Beyoncé’s brand. The negotiations are still ongoing but it’s the final details that are being thrashed out now.”
Beyoncé’s no stranger to securing the bag with Disney. Their relationship began in 2007 when she appeared as Alice In Wonderland as part of the Disney Dream Portrait series.
The deal’s final tweaks are in the works, but fans have a good feeling about this one. In May Beyoncé surprised fans when she appeared in Disney’s sing-along fundraiser for charity and stated she was “very proud and honored to be a part of the Disney family” before singing ‘When You Wish Upon A Star’ from Pinocchio with her family.
